The 2010 Volvo XC70 is SUV-flavored wagon is essentially a raised-suspension version of Volvo's V70 wagon. Today’s XC70 delivers the same things, but the game has radically changed with the advent of crossover SUVs. 2010 Volvo XC70's combination of safety, comfort and everyday practicality make it a family wagon worth considering. However, the Volvo XC70 is better suited for light off-road fun -- as it provides more ground clearance than the Audi A4 wagon. The new wagon is also fitted with Volvo’s DSTC (dynamic stability and traction control) to help the driver maintain control during slides and under hard cornering. The twin-scroll arrangement allows the turbo to 'spool up' much more quickly than a conventional turbocharger, reducing lag. Volvo rates the 3.0-liter engine at 281 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, and claims that it produces its maximum torque over a wide rev band, from 1,500 to 4,800 rpm.
